We're looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Insights team and help build and enhance the data platform that supports decision-making across the business.

In this role, you'll play a key part in developing and maintaining data pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, and ensuring the reliability and quality of the data that underpins reporting, analytics, and business insights. You'll work closely with the Senior Data Engineer and business stakeholders to deliver practical data solutions and contribute to the ongoing evolution of our data platform.

We're looking for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, working with data, and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver solutions that create real value across the organisation.

What you'll be doing:

• Building and maintaining data platform components in line with established architecture and engineering standards.
• Developing and supporting data pipelines that connect internal and external systems.
• Ensuring reliable, accurate, and consistent data flows across the organisation.
• Supporting migration initiatives from legacy platforms to modern data solutions.
• Working with business teams to understand reporting and analytical requirements and translate them into practical data solutions.
• Contributing to the development of data models that support business reporting and decision-making.
• Implementing data quality checks, monitoring solutions, and governance controls.
• Identifying opportunities to improve platform reliability, processes, and engineering standards.

What we're looking for:

• 3+ years' experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting data pipelines and integrations.
• A solid understanding of data engineering principles and cloud-based data platforms.
• Experience developing datasets and data models that support reporting, analytics, and business insights.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, version control, and peer code review processes.
• Understanding of data quality, governance, and security principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to work independently and manage competing priorities.
• Experience with Snowflake, dbt, AWS, or similar cloud data platforms would be advantageous.
