We're looking for a Senior Manager Software Engineering to lead our software development and testing teams and drive the evolution of our digital platforms and engineering practices.  

In this leadership role, you'll help shape Fisher Funds' technology future, providing strategic and technical direction across software architecture, engineering standards, cloud platforms, and delivery practices. You'll play a key role within the Digital Technology leadership team while supporting the growth and capability of a high-performing engineering function.  

We're looking for an experienced technology leader who combines strong engineering expertise with exceptional people leadership and strategic thinking.  

What you'll be doing: 

• Leading software engineering and testing teams across digital platforms and channels. 

• Defining and maintaining software architecture, frameworks, and engineering standards. 

• Driving improvements across software delivery, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated testing. 

• Supporting solution design and strategic technology decision-making. 

• Monitoring delivery risks and ensuring successful implementation outcomes. 

• Managing technology vendors and external delivery partners. 

• Coaching and developing engineering talent across the organisation. 

• Promoting a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.  

What we're looking for: 

• Extensive software engineering experience, including leadership responsibility. 

• Experience leading digital, technical, or product-focused teams. 

• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycles and architecture. 

• Experience delivering cloud-native solutions within AWS, Azure, or similar environments. 

• Strong commercial acumen and vendor management capability. 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. 

• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery leadership. 

• Passion for developing high-performing teams and engineering capability.
