At Fisher Funds, we're passionate about helping New Zealanders achieve their goals through active investment management and quality financial advice. We’re looking for an Investment Analyst to join our Global Equities Team in Auckland and contribute to the research, analysis, and investment insights that support our international equity portfolios.

You’ll work closely with the Portfolio Managers and wider investment team to enhance active returns through deep fundamental research, idea generation, and high-quality analysis. This is a hands-on role with significant responsibility and visibility - you’ll be expected to independently follow a broad range of international stocks, contribute to investment decisions, and communicate your views with clarity and conviction.

This is more than just crunching numbers. You’ll actively collaborate with the team, challenge ideas with respect, and grow your investment toolkit as part of a dynamic environment focused on delivering long-term value for our clients.

What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting original research and identifying global investment opportunities
• Maintaining coverage on portfolio companies and updating financial models
• Preparing and presenting investment recommendations and insights to internal stakeholders
• Engaging with portfolio companies, analysts, and subject matter experts
• Continuously learning and developing both your investment expertise Living our investment philosophy while contributing to a culture of high performance and accountability

What we’re looking for:

• 2 to 5 years of relevant work experience
• Postgraduate qualifications in a related field (CFA or CA preferred)
• Demonstrated ability to distil complex data into clear, actionable insights
• Strong financial modelling skills and intellectual rigour
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A self-starter with a curious mindset, humility, and high standards of professionalism
• A collaborative approach with the confidence to challenge and be challenged
