About the Role
Great technology should work the way people expect it to. As a Quality Analyst, you’ll help make sure the technology supporting our clients and teams is reliable, stable and ready to deliver.
You’ll work closely with Product Leads, developers and stakeholders across projects and day-to-day releases, bringing a quality mindset from the very beginning rather than simply testing at the end.
You’ll get involved in everything from understanding requirements and designing test approaches through to executing testing, investigating defects and supporting User Acceptance Testing.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys getting to the bottom of problems and isn’t afraid to ask, “What happens if...?”
If you enjoy combining technical thinking with collaboration and want to make quality everyone’s responsibility, this could be a great next move.
Key Responsibilities
- Review requirements and user stories, identifying gaps, risks and opportunities early.
- Develop practical test plans, test cases and estimates that support quality outcomes.
- Execute testing across Agile, Waterfall and business-as-usual releases.
- Investigate, document and manage defects through the testing lifecycle.
- Support User Acceptance Testing and help stakeholders understand testing outcomes.
- Create and maintain accurate test documentation and test data.
- Provide clear insights into product quality, risks and issues to support informed decisions.
- Look for smarter ways of working and contribute to continuous improvement across testing and quality practices.
Skills & Experience
You’ll bring a strong quality mindset, an eye for detail and the curiosity to dig deeper when something doesn’t look quite right.
We’re looking for:
- Testing experience: Hands-on experience in software testing and quality assurance.
- Delivery knowledge: An understanding of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall or DevOps environments.
- Testing tools: Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Problem solving: You enjoy investigating issues, thinking critically and working through complex problems.
- Attention to detail: You can spot risks, inconsistencies and potential issues others might miss.
- Test documentation: Experience developing test cases, documenting outcomes and communicating results clearly.
- Collaboration: You build strong relationships and can work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical capability: SQL experience and knowledge of test data management would be an advantage.
