About the Role: 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Analyst to provide critical middle office oversight and support. This role will suit an experienced investment operations professional with a strong technical background in multi asset trading support and core middle office functions and systems. As part of the Investment Operations team, you will work closely with the Front Office, Trading Desk, Product, Finance, Compliance, and external service providers to maintain a stable and efficient investment operating model. You will also play a leadership role in mentoring junior analysts and driving strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Operations & Reporting

• Oversee daily, monthly, and annual reporting processes, ensuring investment data integrity across IBOR/ABOR.
• Support the Front Office with queries regarding investment data, reports, and workflows.
• Manage investment system updates, ensuring accurate data flow between internal and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency.

Middle Office Oversight & Risk Management

• Manage trade lifecycle processes, including trade affirmations, settlements, and reconciliations with custodians and trading counterparties.
• Ensure accurate cash and position reconciliation across investment systems.
• Monitor and escalate operational risks, working proactively with Compliance and Riks and external providers to mitigate potential issues.
• Oversee corporate actions, cash flow forecasting, and trade support activities.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policy requirements for middle office operations.

Strategic Initiatives & Process Improvements

• Drive automation and efficiency improvements across operational processes.
• Act as a key liaison between Investment Operations, Trading, and Portfolio Management teams.
• Develop and implement new workflows and systems to enhance operational performance and efficiency. 
• Collaborate with the Digital & Data team to improve data reporting and analytics capabilities.

Leadership & Mentoring

• Provide training and mentorship to analysts within the Investment Operations team.
• Lead investment operational change and contribute to the continuous improvement of investment processes.
• Foster a culture of excellence, transparency, and collaboration.

About you:

• 3 - 5 years experience in investment operations or middle office roles within investment and or funds management industry.
• Strong understanding of investment trading and order management systems, trade and settlement lifecycle, corporate actions, reconciliations, and registry settlement processes.
• Familiarity with investment systems such as Bloomberg, SWIFT, DTCC and other trading, matching and instruction systems. 
• A detail-oriented and analytical mindset with the ability to problem-solve.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Finance, Tax, Compliance, Digital & Data) and external stakeholders (Custodians, Trading Counterparties, Registry Providers, Bloomberg).
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to interact across front office, portfolio managers, risk, compliance, and external custodians.
• A proactive approach to identifying process improvements, driving innovation, and ensuring data accuracy in a fast-paced investment environment.
• Qualification in Business, Finance, Investments, or a related field.
