We’re building New Zealand’s leading Fixed Income team, and we’re looking for a talented and ambitious Investment Analyst to join us. About the Role

As an Investment Analyst, you will contribute directly to the delivery of active returns through rigorous fundamental research, thoughtful investment recommendations, and clear communication of your insights. You’ll take ownership of the analysis of fixed income securities issued by financial institutions—both domestic and global—across the capital structure, as well as senior and mezzanine asset-backed securities issued in New Zealand and Australia.

You will work alongside the Portfolio Manager and broader investment team to support high-quality decision making, identify new opportunities, and continuously enhance our investment process. We’re looking for someone who thrives in a high-performance environment, values collaboration, and is committed to continuous learning and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth fundamental research on fixed income securities issued by New Zealand and global financial institutions, as well as asset-backed securities.
• Generate new investment ideas and present recommendations grounded in sound research and relative value analysis.
• Support portfolio construction with qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Monitor existing investments and provide ongoing analysis to ensure portfolio alignment.
• Communicate market perspectives clearly and effectively across internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the development of investment policies, processes, and tools.
• Actively participate in the evolution of a high-performance, client-focused culture.
