Job Description

About the Role: 

We are looking for a talented and motivated CRM Functional Lead to join our Digital & Data team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimisation of our CRM systems. In this role you will need to balance the demands of meeting day-to-day business needs whilst driving continuous improvement to achieve award-winning customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuous Improvement: Drive the ongoing improvement of CRM processes and functionality, identifying opportunities for optimisation.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and external partners to design and implement CRM enhancements that meet changing user needs.

  • Business Analysis: Partner with our CRM Administrator to analyse business trend and requirements and shape functional specifications for CRM improvements.

  • Best Practices: Ensure that CRM design and configuration adhere to business processes and industry best practices.

  • Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to integrate CRM systems with other applications, considering local regulations and data privacy standards.

  • Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive CRM documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.

  • End-User Support: Provide functional expertise to end-users in both Auckland and Wellington, assisting with troubleshooting and issue resolution.

  • Release Management: Manage CRM releases, ensuring smooth deployment and effective communication with stakeholders.

  • Industry Trends: Stay current with CRM industry trends and best practices, recommending solutions to meet evolving user needs.

To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience in configuring and customising Salesforce including:

    • Object and Field Creation: Designing and implementing custom objects and fields.

    • Workflow Rules and Process Builder: Automating business processes like client onboarding, task assignments, and communication workflows.

    • Flows: Building more complex automation and guided user experiences.

    • Validation Rules: Ensuring data integrity and adherence to business requirements.

    • Page Layouts and Record Types: Tailoring the user interface for different user roles and business processes.

    • Platform Events: Configuring platform events and their payloads to trigger events outside of Salesforce.

    • Security and Sharing Settings: Implementing appropriate security models to protect sensitive client data.

    • Integration: Using Salesforce APIs to consume updates and events from external systems

    • Reporting and Dashboards: Ability to create insightful reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide data-driven insights for wealth advisors and management.

  • Experience working with cross-functional teams, including technical and business stakeholders and the ability to take them on a journey. 

  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences, ensuring alignment and understanding across the business.
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues and provide functional support.
